About this Certificate Program

Understand the relevant anatomy and biomechanics of common shoulder overuse injuries, including thoracic outlet syndrome, biceps tendinopathy, suprascapular neuropathy, and subacromial impingement
Understand the mechanism of injury, common clinical presentation, and operative procedures to implement the most appropriate post-op guidelines and rehabilitation protocols following SLAP lesions, rotator cuff tears, and Bankart repairs
Evaluate and examine a patient with a possible rotator cuff pathology, and discuss the different repair techniques from an evidence-based perspective
Design and implement an effective rehabilitation program based on clinical and scientific research for common overuse injuries and post-op shoulder conditions
