Christopher DaPrato

Dr. Christopher DaPrato currently treats professional and NCAA athletes at UC San Francisco and UC Berkeley and teaches in the orthopedic residency program for their school of medicine. He is a strong proponent and educator of manual therapy in sports and has presented evidence-informed practices at conferences, both nationally and internationally. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in human physiology, his master’s in physical therapy from Long Beach, and his doctorate from Temple University, he became board-certified as a sports clinical specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and received his certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). His approach to patient care has become a blend of advanced-level strength and conditioning with manual techniques.
